Sherwood Ohio
Lions club
The
Sherwood Lions Club sponsored an Easter Egg Hunt on April 3, 2004 for Children up to 2nd Grade.
The morning started at Moats Park for some as early as 8:00 am. The sun was bright and coffee
was hot to take the chill out of the air and get things started.
Volunteers took to the business at hand, hiding
more than 2000 Easter eggs. It looked as though some had as much fun in
this as the children did finding them. Wow, eggs everywhere!

Guess who shows up after the eggs were hidden?

Yes, the Easter Bunny and she was busy handing
out her own treats for the children. 10 am rolled around and the kids were ready
to go. They were divided it to 4 age groups and assigned to different areas.
Ready, set, Go!

Now it's time to check the booty. The plastic
eggs were to be opened, the candy and toys removed and The Lions Club ask that
the eggs be returned so they could be used again next year.

Thanks to all the volunteers that make things
like this happen in Sherwood, Ohio.
