Sherwood Ohio's next big event will be the Annual Spring Fling to held
May 18th, 19th & 20th, The Village will come alive with many events
planned throughout the weekend.
Starting Thursday the 18th until Saturday you will find community wide
garage sales. Last years event saw more than 30 homes and businesses
participate in the sale. The Sherwood Lions Club will hold a rummage
sale at the Crystal Fountain Park building and the Friends of the
Sherwood Library will hold their annual plant, book, and bake sale at
the Sherwood Library.
Other activities planned for the week-end will include the opening of
the Sherwood Farmers Market on Friday morning, a community breakfast on
Saturday morning at the Sherwood United Methodist Church, a concert
sponsored by the Sherwood State Bank featuring The Rusty Loadz
rock-n-roll bank. The concert will be behind the bank Saturday from noon
till 2pm.
This year you will find a new feature to check out at the town Fire Hall
Saturday the 20th from 9am to 2pm. The event called, "Taste of
Sherwood", will feature different area businesses looking to share more
of their information with you. We at Sherwood Ohio.com will call it
Sherwood Business Expo 2006. This event is sponsored by Archbold
Equipment and hopes are to make this an annual event.
If you are looking to participate in the community wide garage sales, be
sure and let the library know of the address and times, the names will
be added to a list of sales that will be handed out at the Sherwood
Library starting Thursday the 18th. Lets not forget to add your garage
sales to the

visitor looking for the sale info early, register as a user, log-in and
let the people know of your times and the items you have for sale.
When you are done running the town, visit Moats Park on the south end of
Sherwood. Sit down, relax, and take in a ball game as all three ball
fields should be running full Saturday and most of Sunday.
