Sherwood Digs out!

Will they remember this as the "Blizzard of 2007"? Many from the area said it could have been as bad as the "78 Blizzard" had we had more wind with the storm that rolled through Tuesday and early Wednesday morning dumping 12" of snow in our area. If you remember, the Blizzard of 78 only dumped 8" to 10" of snow in the area but the winds of 50 to 60 mph piled the snow to peoples roof tops or more.

Tuesday's storm laid down 12" of snow with winds only gusting to 35 mph. The biggest drifting problem seem to be to the north side of town where I noticed a couple of 5 foot snow drifts around houses. I guess we can all count our blessings, we only had to move 2 to 3 foot drifts from our drive ways.

At least the sun is shinning and the wind has died down so grab a shovel and enjoy the day!
