OH NO, NOT AGAIN

CSX workers are again at the RR tracks in the middle of Sherwood repairing the damage of a another lowboy trailer that tried to make the grade at the RR crossing and did not have clearance.

At approximately 10:30am, the 60 ft+ rig was transporting a large crane and heading north when he did slow down for the crossing but did not realize that a 1" belly plate on the trailer had caught the tracks, causing damage to the track crossing.

As of 1:30pm CSX workers had made enough repairs to get train traffic moving through the crossing and road traffic was still down to one lane. Assisting at the scène were the Ohio State Patrol, Defiance County Sheriffs, and Sherwood PD.
