| The Friends of the Sherwood Library are
pleased to announce the gift of a magnifying reader, for the vision
impaired, to the Sherwood Library. The MagniSight Explorer was
purchased through the collaborative efforts of the Sherwood Area Lions,
the Ohio Lions Foundation and the Friends of the Sherwood Library.
Those who have difficulty reading printed material may now enjoy the
many newspapers, magazines and books available at the library. Some
patrons may also wish to peruse the historical photo collection of local
people, places and events or read the fine print on letters and legal
documents. Library staff will help acquaint users with the easy to
operate machine. The hours of the library are Monday and Wednesday, noon
to 6 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday and
Saturday, 9 a.m. to 12 noon. |
